  • If they go to Kempton this weekend with Gino I'd say that will be a public school. Last year there was only 4 runners in the race, this year nothing will want to run against Gino. There seems to be too many options for Juveniles in England.

    • Mullins has got a load in but Marlborough and Salvator Mundi have DRF entries. Be a tough starting point you'd think but a suggestion that they're both almost ready to run... And that Mundi won't be held back.

I could do without them to be honest..

Nothing new for Mullins to do this
Throw them into Grade 1s,if they win great,if they lose then hold them back and retain their novice status

Aye, Majborough doesn't actually have that option but agreed it's a possibility for SM.

Burdett Road an interesting DRF entry... Hope they go for it.

            • Sir Gino v Burnett Road on trials day.

The former does nothing for me. Reckon he could be a tool in time but I thought his jumping was shite first time up. Slow and looked like he'd been schooling fences.

Price doesn't interest me at all but then few do in the Triumph this time of year tbh.

Great to see Nicky being somewhat ambitious. The champion hurdle entry for Burdett Road could look silly if he cant win a Juvenile trial.

WH go 2/1 Storm Heart and 5/1 Salvator Mundi.

Townend will be on SH so 3/1 for Salvator is too short now with PP. Kargese should arguably be shorter than Salvator. Beat last time whil being too keen off a slow pace and only just beat while carrying a penalty. Kala Conti too short so I'd expect that market to change a lot.

Just need something to lead at a decent pace.

I still like Mighty Bandit but they could just aim him at the Boodles now

                  • High wind could be a player in this if he learns how to jump. Think he hit every hurdle on the way round and bad mistake at the last and still won with plenty in hand. Jumped a bit like goshen in his 1st few races lol

He looked to have a big engine. Terrible over his hurdles.

He’s still 33s with Boyles so I’ve taken a chance. 16s most places

                        • Paul Nicholls has high hopes for his two recent winning juveniles Kalif Du Berlais and Kabral Du Mathan.

Both had won previously in France which meant the pair had to carry penalties on their British debuts, but they proved a cut above their respective opposition.

Kabral Du Mathan won the Chatteris Fen at Huntingdon on Friday, while Kalif Du Berlais lived up to his lofty reputation at Kempton on Saturday.

“They both won well and both were carrying penalties in two different types of races,” Nicholls told his Betfair Ditcheat Diary.

“They are two totally different horses. Kabral Du Mathan is more a hurdling type at the moment, he was impressive at Huntingdon and he will probably go to Musselburgh or more than likely the Victor Ludorum at Haydock, which is a race we’ve had good success in. I dare say he will have an entry in the Boodles.

“Kalif, nothing is set in stone yet. I will give him an entry in the Triumph because you want to be in, but I’d say he’s possibly unlikely to run in that.

“I’d say he’s not that type, he’s a chaser, but he’s a good horse and he may well go for the Adonis at Kempton and I assume that will be his next run.

“They are two nice horses, as is Tutti Quanti who was second at Taunton, so we do have some nice juveniles coming along, but headed up by those two.”

Put the Liari slip in the bin then.

                            • If Nicholls did decide to run one of them in the Triumph it might mean Harry Cobden not been available for Burdett Road
