He did ride Gaelic Warrior after that though but then left handed and never ran over further than 2m would pose more questions than answers if it was me.

Thought it was weird that the vibes were that HY and DR were both being targeted at the Supreme, DR especially. I thought he was nailed on for the Ballymore after the DRF.
Do one do you think Willie might hold one back for the 2M grade 2 at Fairyhouse?

Yes, I think after the trainer comments the other day, he’s a likely runner still.
Run against 4 or 5 near 150 rated horses or run in the county off 138 ?

I thought that too. But Rooster Booster made a great point about the horse perhaps no being suited to the hurdy gurdy of a county (he may have put it more eloquently than this).

A lot less hurdling in the last half mile when they get racing, and suits a strong traveller with speed and stamina.
The experience of big field handicaps is over played when you look at recent winners.
Most novices won't have had that, even in Ireland when there are big field maidens, 70% are never sighted.

Doubt it'll make a huge different going forward but definitely something that needs grading and contextualising each time, which I've probably not done previously.
