I added two to markets yesterday, at big prices.

Backed one at 50s, went for a 90 minute walk, came back and the horse was 20s.

These markets are to be used selectively, in reality.

Any novice thats single figures for next year before they've ran in the bumper or a novice hurdle this year is laughable.

        That's a scandalous price

I'd want that after he won the bumper not before

        Brutal

          • Might have something to do with David Casey saying he was looking forward to him in the AB next year on a preview night.

Preview nights should be banned They serve no real purpose now that the markets are reacting more significantly to them.

We certainly don’t need 2024 preview nights to be starting now!

                • …..40-1 was highlighted on here but suspect it’s more to do with Davy Russell saying he can’t wait to see F2F over 3m next season.

                  • Just finished watching the Mullins documentary on TG4, by my reckoning we could see Annie Powers first foal this season (just turned 4). I've never seen a name for any of her offspring but one that will be a price for all of 5 minutes if they do go down the bumper route

                      • Tullyhill looked very good there, I've had a nibble for the ballymore next year at 25s

Very impressive. Never out of second gear which makes it hard in terms of what type he might be for next season. Probably not a particularly good renewal as the second can’t get his head in front, but he laughed at them. I’d probably say that will be him done and then hurdling next season. Looks uncomplicated though so would get a trip.

Very good of Will Do to run in all these bumpers to give us a nice form line.
