Agreed. He was banging the KoK drum at least a week ago too. He knows something.

Not quite Gavin Lynch level but there are plenty who follow those guys
      Imagine my shock!

      • Seemingly, at the moment, all of Elliott's declared for the 3yo hurdle.

Stellar Story actually cost ?310,000 . Clearly they must have liked the look of him very much.

Am I reading it right? Only 3 in the Champion Chase? And 1 in the race after atm?

You are! Let's hope there's a few more on the way.

Both of Gordon's and one other in the CC.

Also, at least one of Gordon's has been removed from the 3yo race.

5 in the end, representing 4 different trainers.

                • Remember horses can show a lot or very little at home, it’s what they do on the track that counts.

Probably why there were not too many noises about Constitution Hill from the yard pre-debut.

Better Days Ahead trained by same PTP trainer as Constitution Hill as well.

The Nice Guy is the classic example from last year according to the Mullins stable.

Constitution Hill was notoriously bad when they first got him but by the time he was introduced at Sandown, the stable knew they had a good one. Henderson has said once they upped his work and asked him for more, he then showed much more at home. The stable did keep him quiet though.

                        • Wonder if WPM sending Honky Tonk (Walk in the Park) to the Saturday bumper as a bit of a scouting trip to measure how one of Gordon's top ones weighs up. Decent enough connections and Patrick making the trip up to Down Royal to ride - wouldn't be surprised if they're testing the waters a little bit...

Is there any reason to think Foxfire Glow is more likely for the Supreme/Ballymore? Tempted to hold off until there's more clarification.

Flat bred, from French Hurdles, says Supreme to me. A fair bit of speed in the pedigree, Vadamos (who it looks like Gordon has taken a liking too as same sire as King Of Kingsfield), was a top class miler and the dams sire produced the likes of Melon (Supreme 2nd), Song For Someone (multiple winner over 2m including Grade 2's) & Redicean (Good juvenile hurdler, 6th in 2018 Triumph).
