I've been on the PP Live Chat this afternoon, and after the Operator "escalated the issue to the settlement team, and they have informed, as per our rules we would pay the maximum amount at the time".

I responded asking for clarity that they meant the "at the time the bets were placed" and PP confirmed this.

I have the conversation evidenced (screenshots), so if anyone has problems getting appropriate payout above ?50k from PP for pre-existing bets, let me know and I'll happily share the screenshots as evidence to support your claim.

Yeah, but there are two separate issues here: the fact they appear to be changing the terms on existing bets, and as unlikely as it is for many in here if you have a bet that pays 250k you want paying.
It was only 2021 when our very own Faugheen_Machine had a jackpot up of around 250k, how would he have felt if the phone call came offering congratulations but saying they’re keeping 200k of it just because they can…

As well as the main question, I asked for clarification on the date the T&C's were changed and also if the 50k limit is per bet or per day (it reads like per bet on the sheet they sent me, but its ambiguous enough), so will see what I get back.

They are two separate trading bodies so have to pay both, same for Lads/Corals, 888/Hills…

Could you let me know the dates please if they get back to you? I have a good number of yankees that most would return over 50k. Not that I will land one so will probably be irrelevant but I live in hope. I’d definitely take legal action should one land. You’ve entered a contract upon placing the bet so the t&c’s at the time should stand. I won’t be placing any more with them now.
