If theyre going for the AB, he'll probably run in the 2m 6f and clash with JWM I feel like

I'd rather JWM went to Clonmel than took on either horse in the DRF before Cheltenham from a selfish betting perspective

Just watched the race back. For me, the majority of those today behind the winner were out and out Stayers so IMO it was more of an Albert trial as opposed to Ballymore.

Grand Jury showed he maybe doesn’t quite stay the ballymore trip? Conditions maybe played a part, he came there to win his race and Ginto outstayed him.

Hollow Games is a 3 miler all day for me and Ginto would probably be competitive in both.

I don’t know too much about times etc but the handicap hurdle over 1f shorter was only 6 seconds faster, albeit horses rated a lot lower than the Grade 1 horses, would that suggest it wasn’t that quick Grade 1?

Yip but that sort of affirms my thinking it wasn't quick, probably why Grand Jury was able to cruise into it before weakening.

106 rated hurdlers 6 seconds quicker tells you a lot albeit over 1f shorter. Would that put the Lawlors 20 lengths or so better roughly?

I seriously fear for Hollow Games' Bartlett prospects after that today.

Ginto appears to be the superior horse and looked to me like he'd prefer the Bartlett - both in terms of the extra distance and the fact it is on new course rather than the old course.

If the Morans are true to their word and won't run both in the same race then I don't see Hollow Games running. I think the best HG backers can hope for is a commanding performance at the DRF that almost forces their hand to run both (I'm not sure he is good enough to do this though).

Surely after today performance, GINTO will be ballymore bound, leaving HG to come here. Definitely think HG wins at DRF then set up a clash with JWM here in March

The 2m6 race at drf could end up being a very good race if blazing khal, jwm and hollow games turn up in it, whichever wins surely be a short price for the bartlett afterwards so much to look forward to at drf and then onto cheltenham in this division
