Dan Skelton also doesn't seem to be shirking Cheltenham. He's got good horses towards the top of an awful lot of markets, and whilst he isn't likely to do a Mullins and win half a dozen winners or more, he is likely to have a good Festival, when he could easily save several of those horses to go pot hunting elsewhere.Luck is a dividend of sweat. Elle Est Belle's isnt running away from Cheltenham.
As Spectre says, she is a 2M4F Mare (probably stay further) so going to the MNH has looked more and more unlikely as the season has unfolded.
EEB wont be going to Aintree for a 2M alternate to the Festival 2M MNH, its the trip shes seeking.
Thats a completely separate point to Nicholls skipping the Festival last year with Monmiral for example,...who should and could have gone to the Triumph with a very good winning chance.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 11 February 2022, 04:59 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

I checked through race programme earlier in the week and couldn't find a suitable Mares Novice for her.
Didn't check the geldings options, though; she may be permitted entries in some of those races - if there are any over 2 Miles I'm the next two weeks.

To run 3 weeks or more before the MNH she would need to run by Thursday 24th Feb at the latest.
That gives her four meetings from 19th to 24th Feb to find a race to run in.
Gowran
Navan
Punchestown - 23rd
Thurles - 24th
Entries for all of these meetings will be out Tuesday-Friday next week.
So we will know very soon.
