Can talk about that festival bumper all you want but flats and hurdles is a completely different ball game and she’s no mission on her hurdles form. Should be 3 times the price she is
Sound - pop on exchange & lay her at 40s for me then please - I’ll happily take plenty of that! All a game of opinions. I personally love her chances as stated & would have her winning more than 1 in 14. That’s what keep the game interesting though

Lol your fully entitled to your own opinion of course, I’m just trying to step in and help out here. Even to mention the lunar display form. She still got beat by lunar display and lunar would have no chance in the mares novice never mind the mares hurdle. I think Gordon has managed to hypnotise a load of ppl from his words in the stable tour, thankfully I haven’t fallen in the trap myself

I know there has been some chat earlier about this mare but for me she is the forgotten one in this race. In fact I really fancy her here & reckon she’s a knocking bet at 14-16s NRNB.

Elliotts’s only entry in this. Has been trained for this target all year, as stated in his RP stable tour at the start of the season. Happy to see CDN go & win his next 2 & the form with Lunar Display look decent. That one ran well behind the 2 of Willies in the Solerina & I think the third Say Goodbye will run well at the DRF next weekend. Crucially this mare is notoriously difficult to get hard fit so working back from one key target in March I feel she’ll be A1 on the day. The old course suits with her only course run behind none other than Ferny Hollow & Appreciate It. I think she’ll power up the hill & win this like a top class mare.

Looks like one who’ll capture imagination on the preview circuit & can only see her price shortening.

Put my money where my mouth is & had a chunky ew bet & inc in all early multiples ante post & nrnb.
Great run from Say Goodbye there at the DRF - couldn’t believe the price she went off at & the front 2 have pounds in hand. Adds more confidence that Gordon knows exactly what he has with Queens Brook. Gone in again 14/1 NRNB

Why not go for it?! Mark somewhat blown after today, will be trying in vain in a champion hurdle, dare I say trainer seems to have nothing else jumping out for this race??! Enough stamina in her pedigree you’d have thought, was still keen today but less so than previously perhaps

In his SL column this week he was keen to discuss Finest Evermore for this & said this was her main aim….though on figures she’s a fair way behind Stormy & EIR

This was my thinking. Best chance she'll have is here now surely. Huge price on Betfair still though... Might have a look about later and see what NRNB is on offer in comparison.

                      Me neither.

Would have zero interest in her.

Not given enough indicitation she'd stay and has no form really making her of interest even if she ran to her best.

You'd need massive improvement for the step up, which they've never mentioned or considered before.

This is pure coincidence (so don't feel I'm taking the piss) and slightly ironic given our discussion in the Supreme earlier but... She's just beaten Heaven Help Us 16 lengths. Who beat the favourite for this LTO. I'm not sure you'd need 'massive improvement for the step up'!

HHU is better over further than 2m in fairness but even if you use Saint Roi or Zanahir, she's beaten a 155 horse by 2 lengths and finished half a length behind a 159 rated horse. On ratings she'd be right up there with the best in the race here

Yeah to be fair, she wouldn't need a massive improvement for the step up if she reproduced todays form over 2m4f.

I just don't feel like that trip would suit her or allow her to do that, and it'd be the opposite for HHU.

I can see why people would chance 16/1 NRNB for EIR in the Mares Hurdle. It's fair enough if you think she'll replicate the form up in trip.... It's just not one for me as I really think she'd struggle up in trip. She's a two miler at this stage in her career for me.

Aye, to be honest I completely agree based on what I see. Which is why I asked the question. Hoped a few of you would convince me she'd stay!

Might take the 16s NRNB to be honest. Doubt she'd be that big of she did turn up either way.

Can't argue with the logic of that, she would go off shorter probably.

                              Unjustifiably though IMO.

It's the kind of bet I do like, no real risk to it..... however I know I'd be too lazy to lay it off at SP and I'd end up having her run, and she won't stay and I'll be annoyed I have an e/w bet on her

                              • At the risk of everyone playing Devil’s advocate, does she definitely not stay 2m4f? It looked that way earlier in the season, but she might’ve just been shite. Did look to be staying on ok today which is why I’m less certain now about ruling her out entirely.
