Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Agree, dont think Notebook is getting enough credit. If fakir won alot of people would be creaming in thier pants.

    • He’s also going to get a 7lb swing with Fakir so he is clearly the #1 Irish challenger

We will see who is top for this side of the water tomorrow, should be pretty clear by New Years day

      • Melon comes back into the equation IMO. 20/1 back over fences tomorrow over 2m. Halves if he wins tomorrow and looks a two horse race with City Island, but he will likely need further.

Where do we think City Island will end up? Tomorrow paint a clearer picture?

Still a potential Arkle candidate, as I said previously, but likely up in trip I feel over time.

I’d be confident he’d end up JLT bound. They’ve even mooted a further step up potentially.

Absolutely. As I've posted before, he'll be Mullins number 1 Arkle horse. Huge chance on a line through Fakir.

If only i knew Melon was coming here! Contemplating your comment COD for the last hour looking through form book, other options (drinking and watching football) 20s looks massive now compared to what it could be tomorrow afternoon! Its so versatile though it could go near enough anywhere! Fuck it! IN! Think if wins tomorrow as you say at least halves in price!

                  • I can't take credit, was put up plenty before by others, but the realisation that Laurina couldn't go with them today told me enough, and Melon seems the most likely option. Plus he's a consistent festival performer.

i"d be suprised if His price wasnt bigger after today,.I've backed Melon the last 2 years and iv always waited until mid feb to do so, he's a stuffy horse over the winter months and is 0/5 in Dec and feb...i'd wait before backing him, ive had 28s with him last 2 years.

                      • I've added Fanion D'estruval @ 16/1. Doubt I'll add anything else now with Melon, Fakir D'Oudaires and Notebook all on side at big prices.

I don't think the form of his win LTO is anything special, but he looked good and I'd be kicking myself if I didn't have him in the book. 16/1 with cashout seems relatively straight forward.

                        • Just found PP have a special today

Fanion D'estruval to win today and the Arkle

                          25/1

                          Bosh.

Tidy. If I could use PP then I would be all over that

                            • Al Dancer at 50/1 the same double might tempt some people too?

It's tempting me but I'm in defensive mode after yesterday!

That was over hurdles though. Think he'll be a different proposition over fences today especially with his LTO form being franked yesterday. I think he'll win cosily and go around 6's for this.
