  • This Brewin'upastorm loving is getting on my nerves a bit.

There is always a horse who stays in their box that people get a hard on for...

He is 14/1 and has LITERALLY no form that puts him close to winning an Arkle yet.

He beat Southfield Stone by 4L, and he got beaten 11L by Fanion D'estruval, who has been put in his place since?

Shut up about him..... he's not a good bet at 14/1

    Peace...

and yes I know I've said I like him during this thread but I've changed my mind... he's useless and should be twice the price

      • Kev, when did he get beaten by Fanion?! You thinking of the right horse? Or is some part of his form not tracked by the RP?

Different races, different days, different distances. We all know that’s a leap of faith. And at very different tracks.

If you believe FdE’s run at Kempton was “to form”, fair enough. I don’t. And that analysis dismisses clock times over 2 miles and compared to standard entirely in his two chase runs (and wins).

                • Brewins best run was his chase debut for me, trainer at the time said he was nowere near fit enough

                  • Yeah I was only replying to your post mate. I’m struggling to see beyond Notebook or FD, but brewin would be the English threat for me

Kev I was replying to TCH, explaining what your original post was saying. You’d replied just before. Sorry for the confusion

His form was franked by good boy bobby & midnight shadow

You won't see me on this forum for a year if he wins it, which he won't, as he's a handicapper, overhyped by a yard that does the same thing every season.

Still waiting for him to win the Supreme, that's how good he is, right?

I'm not having Midnight Shadow as relevant.

                                Brewin beat Midnight Shadow 16L

If Brewin is 16L better than Midnight Shadows Dipper run then he's a bit of a beast

Midnight Shadow winning a Grade 2 over 2m4f doesn't frank Brewin's Arkle claims for me (it's obviously not a negative, but it's not really something you can cling on to unless you believe MShadow gave a true running?)

and plus, Midnight Shadow only won because Champ fell over... he was getting thumped
