Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    Big negative in my opinion.
It’ll be his third start... he goes well fresh, don’t see a big negative myself.

Think Danny was always going to ride Cash Back too.

Fair enough, I was surprised that he chose Melon, connections have only really talked about Melon stepping up in trip, personally im glad that they are running him here so they can find out properly if hes an Arkle horse. I feel strongly that Carefully Selected is going for the wrong race and they havent actually found out if hes good enough to win the G1 3 miles race which he should be going for.

I'm obviously hoping Cash Back wins this weekend and would prefer Danny to keep the ride at Cheltenham if it falls that way.

They've got Battleoverdoyen for that though & they seem to think the world of him... not that they're adverse to running more than one in a race however

Not certain they'll get to the bottom of Melon this weekend. Given his form before Chelt and all that...

                  • Not sure what to make of the news Brewin is going straight to the Festival. Is it necessarily a negative? It feels it is and leaves a few doubts whether he is ready for the step up in standard around a course he’s not jumped fences around yet. Apart from a lack of fitness or slight injury do you think he’s just ran out of racing time?

                      Small negative?
                      Neutral?
                      Positive?

Would much rather have seen a smoother prep Kev, so has to be a small negative. I’m still if the opinion that he’ll be the best this side of the Irish Sea though and that he’ll be a player come March.

I don't disagree with him potentially being the best this side of the Irish Sea.

I do think that puts him 4th at best though

I have backed him now, in anticipation that he shortens....although him now not running prior might alter that.

No rush to act yet I suppose, certainly not before the weekend's Irish Arkle

                          • What's the reason for Brewin going straight to Cheltenham?

Ran out of time getting him ready for the Kingmaker. Murphy said he was only prepared to run if fully fit and is happy to go there fresh instead.

Cheers Morley. I like the horse but don't like them going straight to the festival.

                                Big negative for me.
