No, but the ground in UK looks horrendous, I’m not sure I’d want any decent horse of mine getting caught in a deep ground slog as a Cheltenham prep.

We all know the Arkle is heading to Ireland so all the clues come out at Dublin...

Yeah, it's not doing my Edwardstone Supreme bet much good.... Haydock is one of my closest tracks, big old straight...

Could end up looking like a Ballymore trial if anything.... but I digress, wrong thread.

      • Any noise or mention on Breaken? I take it he is way down the pecking order now for Willie?

        • Cash back wasn’t stopping at the line last time I think he’s a big player can’t wait to see him at DRF

Not heard anything but if he's not running in the next week you'd imagine they'll take a more low key route with him this season.

The Festival may not be what he needs based on his chase career so far.... needs more 'confidence' ... calmer waters... etc

            • Brewinupastorm making sure they go a strong pace on the old course. That’s the value play IMO. His times this year have been good. His form at Cheltenham is good. The race isn’t deep. Some of them unproven at Cheltenham. And the race could fall apart.

              • No Laurina entry for this. She's in the Marsh and RSA though.

Was going through the entries and can’t see anymore than 10 runners max in this. Definitely value play is brewinupastorm, I’ve backed notebook cash back and Bapaume at big prices for not much. Can’t get enthusiastic about this race looks worse than average.... still better than last years though...

Maybe a couple of rags instead of al dancer and Marie benrigh but think there will be around 9-10 in the field

                        • Anyone know much about the single French entry in this?

Ignore that - I was just being lazy.

There’s plenty of space in the world for people to be lazy. It gives the naggers something to nag about.

                                barring injury I'd agree.
