  • Following Klassical Dream being declared for the Supreme i've just backed Easy Game at 33/1 EW

In the RP yesterday Mullins re-iterated the same plan for him going here (and for Allaho "The AB is the plan")
He's done well, winning 4 of his 6 starts over hurdles, three of them over 2m4f. He goes for the Ballymore
He will be the only Mullins runner in the field so will have Ruby onboard (you'd think!) and once the market takes out KD, Birchdale, CoF, Aramon, Sinoria, Allaho tomorrow he'll be much shorter.

Barely a mention on the preview nights or lead up to the festival which would be a slight negative (as much as you take them with a pinch of salt) just in the sense it would have been nice to hear a few positive mentions in his work.

Hard to knock his form at face value though at all. The grade 2 at Navan reads well (more so for the AB but Next Destination, Death Duty, Bellshill, No More Heroes, Briar Hill past winners) with Rhinestone well behind and some decent types in Defi Bleu. He was 2 lengths a head of Getareason (getting 1lb) who was only 4.75L behind Battleoverdoyen and 2L behind Sams Profile in his next race. Both of those horses are much shorter but through a line through Getareason shows there is little between them at face value.

Mullins is light on novice hurdlers this season and the standard isn't set as high as previous years but there's still plenty too like at that price

I took 28/1 ew NRNB yest evening, he's not a world beater but he's tough, keeps finding and improving. I highly doubt there's anything special in the race anyway.

However i think the antepost is dangerous, could very easily see them doing the switch with Allaho and easy game. Done it with long dog/ Thomas Hobson. As ruby wanted to ride.
        Min
        Yorkhill
        Long dog

If they do go easy game ballymore / allaho AB. I personally think they've put them in the wrong races. And will swap them accordingly the other way at punchestown. Time will tell.

Best rides ruby could possibly have for himself is
        Supreme klassical dream
        Ballymore Allaho
        Albert bartlett easy game.

          ...Re Easy Game, as you suggest, Willie Mullins said in Saturday’s Racing Post;

‘He’s done well, winning four of his 6 starts over hurdles, 3 of them over 2m 4f. He goes for the Ballymore’.

            • I really don't want to be thinking Allaho comes here the night before decs. When I'm invested nicely for the AB.

              Willies word is his word...right?

thoughts on his chances if he were to run in this? Thought he looked an AB horse lto, but he looked a classy animal. Could look huge if declared. (Assuming Walsh picks Allaho over Easy Game)

Not sure how it will effect his chances
But this horse is the biggest horse I have ever seen

Tbh I don't know how good he is. Nothing is a superstar in the race. Champ and battleoverdoyen are decent but not miles clear by any stretch. IF he goes here I expect he's showed enough in his last piece of work to warrant it.

Iv thought all along the Supremes red hot. And the ballymore is weak. I thought klassical dream would go very close until the rain came and it was aparrent last night where he was going. Still think angels breath and birchdale in any other yard would both have gone here. . Looks a sub standard race to me and Nickys tried his best to provide it on a plate for JP.
