They've been very bullish about all of their novices/juveniles this season Ista. Cant have Birchdale at any price for the AB. For a horse thats been lapping Champ on the gallops ends up in the spud

I already written champ out of this race. Can anyone remember when a Challow hurdle winner last won the old Neptune or the new Ballymore race? Was looking through previous years. Couldn't find one.

With Klassical Dream going to the Supreme (as per the machine) I have backed Easy Game for this @34.0 - Will likely be the Mullins #1 hope and won’t go off at 25/1 BP if this is the case

Probably too deep a race to expect him to win but you're right about him going off much shorter if it's Ruby's ride!

All 16 Challow winners to come didn't win but 5 from the last 6 to try were placed

That stat strikes me as more of an anomoly than sensible rule to follow.

Winners of the race include:

Denman, Wicheta Lineman, Fingal Bay, Taquin du Seuil who have all won at the festival.

If you're looking for reasons to oppose Champ, there are plenty, but winning the Challow Hurdle shouldn't be one of them.

Neither get a mention in the Mullins 2 page article in the post.
