Champion Bumper 2020

Harry has been talking him up on Twitter

Apparently might be barking up the wrong tree, seemingly a long term project. (Staying chaser)

Iv 2 nice ones for the bumper anyway. Which is more than enough.

He’s with Nicholls so always likely to be a long term project

Not sure if i missed your reasoning if you gave one, but just wondered why you like this one, the PTP form doesnt look brilliant although he did it easily enough.

No indication if she goes here but Bigbadandbeautiful would take some stopping imo. Serious mare.

Cant' run in it. ran too many times
mares novice maybe

Shes decent. Getaway star just didn't turn up today though.
Maybe punchestown champion bumper. / mares nov.

I've seen loads of prices on oddschecker for this horse.
anyone who's backed her needs to ask for their money back

As was explained in reply to my post in the ante post thread by both Scooby and Quevega, the 50/1 I have on BBB in the Ch Bumper
is now a much lamented and worthless bet having had more than 4 runs in bumpers. I hope she runs in the mares novice but have a horrible feeling Jack is right and they will keep her for the flat. The 16/1 now on offer for the Ch Bumper is a steal - and not in a good way. B******s!

It’s about time bookies got called out for quoting horses that are ineligible to run, injured for the season or dead.

They are so quick to cut prices on horses, or swallow your money when a horse is injured, but it’s not unusual to still see horses in betting markets that aren’t running this season and that fact has been well documented for weeks. (WH Topofthegame still up at 8/1 to Win Any Race at the Festival!!!)

Very much so! Mares Novice a possible i guess, but got a feeling they'll keep her on the flat.

“She doesn’t qualify for too many bumpers now and could go for the Grade 2 mares’ race in Leopardstown at the Dublin Racing Festival.”

Codd's description of Labaik as “one of the best work-horses I have ever seen in my life” has earned him the nickname 'The Coddfather' on the Cheltenham-preview circuit and following Bigbadandbeautiful's win today, stated “we were raving about her the day she won at Clonmel (in May) and she could be a Royal Ascot filly or something like that — she is that good.

Does anyone know what is happening with the Harry Fry trained Get in the Queue? He’s the favourite with some bookmakers for the Champion Bumper but also features in the SNH, Ballymore and the Stayers markets? I know he’s been put up forward as a potential superstar but not finding much out about his plans this season. He’s had 3 bumper runs so far

Fairly certain i read/heard he's injured

Yeah Get In The Queue won't be seen until after Christmas is what was said. Very keen on him for the SNH but will wait for an entry before going ahead with any bet.

Cheers Jack & CoD, I didn’t want to waste any money on him for CB if they have hurdling aspirations this season

Yes the message for Get In The Queue was that he had an injury and that his reappearance would be delayed, possibly until Christmas/new year.

He probably went back into the Bumper market on the basis that if he didn’t get two or three hurdles runs in before the Festival that connections may consider a crack at the Bumper instead.

Not a feasible Festival choice until we know he is fit and well and entered up to run again.

Cheers HF, I was toying with trying to get him involved in some fav doubles but will avoid until I know a bit more about his plans

I wasn’t aware of the number of runs race condition. Where can one find the race conditions for the Festival races?
