Arc looking a bit crap this year like. In fact that whole Longchamp meeting is a little underwhelming this year atm.

Neither will Baaeed. Ending career at Ascot in Champion Stakes

Sounds like Vadeni won't be going to the Arc, as they don't think he'll stay.

Hoping that Baaeed heads to Longchamp, I've taken some of the 8/1 on Adayar for the Champion Stakes as the best horse left in the race.

Kinross will now be primed for another crack at next month's G1 Prix de la Foret, a race in which he finished fourth last year. “He got a bit far back in it last year, but we'll look forward to it,” trainer Ralph Beckett added. “As Frankie said, we know each other now and I'd imagine we'll go straight there, After that we'll see.”

it's the only 7f group 1 so was always going to be a big target for him

I'm not sure kyprios wants very soft ground so the cadran must be unlikely, search for a song and Falcon Eight certainly preferred decent ground

You seen anything (ideally from the weekend) confirming Kinross to be targeting the Foret? Agree he'd definitely be the one to beat if he was. And it'd be the right race to target for them imo. Just had couple of fairly quick runs hasn't he, in comparison to last year at least.

Think Kyprios will go for the Cadran? Arc option, or waiting for Champions Day rather than taking in both. Sounds like Trueshan won't be there, so there's potentially one to be found lower down there as well.

Aye, fairly unpredictable ground and the draw make it slightly speculative even by usual antepost standards. Just think they'll be something in the 20 to 25/1 range that'll be comfortable single figure when the field is actually known.

Speaking of French racing... Been looking to find a bet in the Abbaye as it sounds like the top two in the market are going to be non runners. Appreciate its not priced to a great percentage still but there has to be some value. Been reading some trainer quotes and seen a couple state they've got entries in the Abbaye. Anyone got any ideas where I can actually find the entries though?
When it's soft ground at longchamp the sprint track has a huge draw bias to low numbers

you basically have to be drawn near the far rail to have a chance when it gets very soft

Makes antepost betting in the race very tricky

That is the concern for sure but I've got a good price. French and English guineas are the same prize pool with the Irish one a little less I think. Not sure he cares for that though.

I know it's all hypothetical at the moment but I'd prefer a price for the Arc 2023 than the 1000 Guineas given how the trainer operates with a good one

Love Tarnawa. Tarana is some mare. Got a colt with Frankel for next year, should be interesting.
