Yeh definitely. He might not have done any serious work on his own or with others, but I'd have it 1/100 he's popped a few fences to guide how they decide to progress.

I do hope he's pinged every single one and knocked Willie's eyes out by the way he jumps. He'll win whatever chase he goes for at the festival. Gowan Willie, do the right thing!!

I dunno, would be a little surprised if a few of the younger horses don't reach or even surpass his level

Sir Average won't be winning at the festival.

There is nothing to discuss, you're right.

I don't think he wins the Arkle - it looks fairly deep with some good novice hurdlers close to his level with more scope for improvement. I don't think he wins the Champion Hurdle - there are two way ahead of his standard. I think he could win the Turners. It looks liable to be less deep than the Arkle to my mind (though I prefer others right now).

All of this assumes he can jump a fence. If he's schooled over fences but connections are still deciding whether to go chasing it might suggest he's not electric despite his P2P experience.

If/when Willie comes to his senses and states Sir G goes chasing I'll post my reasons why he'll be winning at the Fez again. I've got a list ready but it'll be wasted on everyone if he decides he wants to take on Honey and the Hill. Willie, I'm waiting.........

                          • Nicholls has pulled Monmiral out 3 times now this season, if I recall correctly. Wants soft ground. Doubt he’ll turn up
