We are contacting you regarding bet ID xxx placed at the odds of 12/1 on Galopin Des Champs (Win And Each Way Ryanair Chase - NRNB). We have identified that this selection was placed at incorrect odds and as such, in accordance with our rules, will be settled at the revised odds of 1/1.

If you would like to cancel this bet prior to the start of the event then please contact us.
Haha they've reduced the odds on mine too. Hardly surprising, but piss poor from them all the same.

They had aslong as they wanted to check, double check and triple check the NRNB prices before going live with them. These errors shouldn't happen and if they do then the staff members need to be held accountable not the savvy punter who notices it. By this reckoning any ante post price they offer they can adjust how they see fit, it is really really poor, IMO.

For me, it's different making your debut in march compared to November when you're building towards the rest of the season. It's not the same, but every time he's run after a 50 day break he's beaten or equalled his pb so it's not like he needs a race within 4 weeks like some horses.
He will be way way fitter for a reappearance in march as compares to his usual first run

An 11 year old that looks gone at the game now, that doesn't like to travel across the Irish Sea. I think I'll pass on that one

          Yeah.
I've backed nearly every horse in the Ryanair as the market dictates - but not him.

Hi, WTL, did you not think he was running ok before mistake 2 out in Leopardstown, looked to be taking it up when hit 2nd last and lost all momentum. Still went off Fav for race, so maybe yard think he's still got something. Totally agree when travelled with dosen't look as good, but as willie has talked of going out in trip with him and Allaho doubt, it's possible longer might suit.

I just think he's over the hill now and will be caught out by younger horses that are in the division., and that's without even talking about his travelling issues.

Blue Lord in his own stable put him to bed in the last race and I see no change if he goes to the Ryanair. Of the top of the market this is how I see them:

Allaho - Fav because of the last two years and if shows up in same form will win (now that is a bit if and that's why we are taking him on if he doesn't show up or isn't the same horse)
Blue Lord - Worthy Favourite without Allaho. Still a 70/30 chance he could go the QM (70% in favour of the Ryanair)
Shishkin - I think I would still have Shishkin over CPS in the race based on course form (course form is one of the most important factors for Cheltenham)
Fakir - Beaten well by GDC but I would have him over CPS (younger and better course form)
              Conflated - N/R
              Galopin - N/R
              Stattler - N/R
Envoi Allen - Battered in the KG, and have never seen him as a 3 miler. Wouldn't really want to back him either after the KG in this though either. Could have really been primed for Down Royal and also he loves it there
Fury Road - Out and out stayer. The Ryanair would be too short for him. Did all his best work in the Savills right at the end when closing in
Eldorado Allen - Just struggles at the top level. Could get one one day but the field would have to be weakish. Couldn't have him
Janadil - Again a horse that always find at least one too good. Can't have him
French Dynamite - Did well in the Paddy Power Gold Cup, but can I see him winning the Ryanair? Not really!

Therefore from my own analysis the winner should come from the top 4 in the market. Obviously it all depends how Allaho is, whether he turns up or not and in what condition. But to me Blue Lord would be the one if he comes here

              • The Clarence house will help decide where blue lord goes as well

If energumene puts edwardstone away the chance of blue lord running here increases quite a bit

                • Entries for Thurles G2 2m4f chase will be a big day for this race. Race is on Sunday the 22nd and not sure on exact date the entries are out. Can anyone advise?

If he doesnt run here, it will probably be straight to Cheltenham which isnt ideal or else he just misses the Fez altogether

Entries will be out Tuesday the 17th. Don't see why he couldn't run at the DRF if he misses Thurles though.

                    • Nicky on Shishkin:

’After working earlier this week Nico reported that Shishkin made a noise. We’ve never heard any noises from him before, not even a murmur, but Nico said there was a noise and we’ve investigated it and scoped him and he’d basically flipped his palate. It was clear and obvious. Essentially his palate is displacing which is surprising as we’ve never heard it in a race but it’s highly like that it was indeed happening in a race. It’s a very easy fix but it’s ten days off. We’ve got to do it, we’ll get on with it and get it done. It’s a common old problem and a very easy thing to fix but, as I say, it’s got to be done.‘

…so maybe you should have entered him in the qm after all…

                        • Well that’s all quite interesting about Shiskin, would love to see him back to former glories. Though I’ve know idea what impact this has on a horse? Anybody?

Just can't breathe properly basically. Like running with an orange stuck in your throat.
