To be fair, I wouldn’t know about the dark arts involved in the point game so there could be some validity to it.

I don’t know if there is any truth in it and agree it would be a daft thing to do given the investment the Morans have made but given what Elliot has been caught doing not that long ago it wouldn’t surprise me. That said he is brilliant at getting his horses primed for Cheltenham so maybe Ginto will live up to his hefty price tag but he needs to improve a lot

I mean its not as if he can be "caught out", he can just say that the horse hasn't progressed like he thought if ginto turns out to be not great and the morans couldn't really say anything, promising horses regress all the time.

that said he will be under a lot of pressure to reward the Morans investment and support so you can guarantee he will pull out all the stops to ensure they do well at the next Festival so I’ll be back all their runners under his name

I know its slightly left field by could Idas Boy be a horse for Gigginstown in this race. He runs tomorrow over 3m in a novice at Thurles. Second season novice with 1 win this season over 3m.
Gigginstown love to have runners in this race, they have had at least one runner every year since 2013, mostly having at least 2 runners. I don't think there will be a huge amount of other horses they could send here which are novices and are already being campaigned over 3m.
Looks like he will go off as one of the favourites tomorrow off a RPR of 130. However he isn't priced up anywhere yet for the AB

So I'm trying to work out who's Willie's AB horse this year.
Bit of a minefield but here goes.
Kilcruit - looks to be Supreme bound Sir Gerhard - has been name checked for Ballymore
State man - little to go on but breeding suggests a shorter trip
Grangeclare West - "shorter trip" has been said
Grangee - I'd imagine the MNH will be her target
Bring on the night - not enough information/comments
Olympic man - same as above
Whatdeawant - potentially going chasing.
Hubrisko - I'd imagine supreme or Ballymore
Which leaves 3 for me;
Dark Raven - Sounds more like he's a surprise rather than expectation. Although Willie's has said he's one for the staying hurdles I'm not entirely convinced, and looks more speedy to my eye 25/1
Classic Getaway - Huge price tag, Huge colours to wear. Patrick said he's more of a stayer, I liked his last run and was barely tapped. There's obvious risk here of the Bumper or the shorter trips but he's as short as 14/1 elsewhere so 25/1 is fair enough for me.
Ramillies - He's an absolute myth to Willie by the sounds of it. Willie talks about him like he's one of his best at home. Who am I to question him. Hes been pretty rubbish so far on the track. He said he'll be aimed at staying hurdlers this season, I have no doubt this will be his target. For me, it's a bit skinny at 33/1 but a decent risk.

Dark Raven
4g Malinas - Mary Wilkie
Simon Munir & Isaac Souede
11-
RPR 130b OR -
He was a little surprise package last season, having been led out unsold at €17,000 at the Derby Sale. It shows that people can find horses like that even on a budget. He looks a nice novice with plenty of speed. We'll see how his jumping technique is before finalising a trip for him.
The other 2 Ramillies and CG I can see coming here
