Skelton saying same thing but in a long winded manner.
But the small field grade ones look set to continue whilst ever we have handicapping like this.
    Fucking numpty.
Just needed to downgrade the closeness of horses, due to the piss-poor-pace, and judge the changing of ratings too much as being a bit tricky, so make only minor adjustments.

      I guess so.

I can't see me backing it unless I really fancied him on the day and I'll need to know the field for that.

They mighyt be slower changing this price than anything else.

      • Following on the Chacun Pour Soi musing, seems like quite a few agree, and a good point regarding Defi taking his racing so well.

I don't think I'm going to react in terms of betting until just before the DRF myself, but as Defi crossed the line I was convinced he's the QMCC winner, a few days on and I'm starting the think CPS is the horse to take him on with...

        ....but not boldly

        • Any one think Min is worth a bet here? If CPS doesn’t win on Saturday and Min bolts in would they be tempted to re-route? Altior we haven’t seen for a while and doesn’t seem quite the force of old, I wouldn’t put it past them having another go here to be honest.

25/1 to find out with cashout available I’m going to give it a go

I much prefer 14/1 NRNB personally

              Both feasible.

I listened to Joe Chambers on the RaceHour podcast on the way home, he sounded pretty adament Min's best trip is further, and he did say they hope CPS beats him at the DRF too in a roundabout way.

I'd take the NRNB of those two options.

I think if CPS can't beat Min over 2 miles then he just isn't the horse they thought he was.
And for connections I don't see them being too despondent at all with even say a 3rd place finish for Min against this lineup.
CPS beating Min (who runs a decent race) keeps both Cheltenham and future hopes going for the pair.
The other way throws up more questions than answers really.

                    • Love the horse but I cannot see him getting up the hill. Jumping was a bit off too.

On to the festival we go.

I was very taken by that performance. It's going to be some Champion Chase if they all make it there. Possibly the race of the festival

                              • Disappointed with CE falling so early, with no race run at all I wonder if they will send him out again? Shame we didn’t get to see him vs the big two.

CPS can’t do any more than that, I think beating Min 3L is much better form than beating UDS 3L
