    • I wonder how they are feeling about supplementing Cilaos Emery for the Champion Hurdle now

Hard to tell, jumping is the name of the game and he did tumble in his last chase.

            • noun: damp squib; a situation or event which is much less impressive than expected.

The Queen Mother Damp Squib 2020 is not going to take long to go through.

Defi Du Seuil has not run his race. Has a great Cheltenham record so it's not that. He's beaten better horses than Politilogue over fences. Really disappointing that he didn't put it together, as he deserved it for having such a good, bold campaign. I am not certain they'll go for the Ryanair next year, I assume he'll still take in races like the Tingle Creek... so that is something to look forward to!

Politilogue is a horse I've always liked. He's had 5 festival runs - record reads U4421
Everything has fallen for him here hasn't it? He's clearly a very good horse and has shown that for a while. 2nd in the QMCC last year. Two seasons ago he has brilliant 2mile form didn't he too? He's been right there with good horses like Min too in Grade 1s in his career. He was not a huge price in a King George either if memory serves.... and with DDS under performing and the 'big 2' not turning up he was well placed to run to his level and it's good enough to get him in the history books. The best price for him is 20/1 next year which is not a price I'd take but he's generally 14/1 which gives him the respect he probably deserves. 20/1 if you're making a book is a fair enough price but he's likely to be a backable price much closer to the time because he's not going to capture anyones imagination regardless of what he does!

Sceau Royal was disappointing - ground to blame perhaps? I think the Grand Annual is the only festival race I'd be interested in for SR now

Dynamite Dollars ran well, RIP to him.

Bun Doran had a good little season didn't he. Grade 2 winner at Christmas, placed in a QMCC. Better than perhaps I've given him credit for, but no interest in terms of ante post.
