From a betting perspective , after winning the Irish Churdle, would Honey not then be a certainty for the Mares? If not, why would anyone expect her to go on and win the English Churdle?

Oh and make a few quid in the process

      Obviously mean the Mares
Certainly agree with that. Would be a good match up.

Because she already has a better RPR than all of the English horses, including Epatante.
If she then beat all of the Irish horses as well (except Apples Jade) who all have a worse RPR than her, then who is going to be favourite to stop her?

          This is where we disagree

For me irrespective of Irish Churdle result she still doesn’t beat BDD in the Mares

Yep, we agree to disagree. She has just stepped into a first year in proper full on Grade 1 races, and she already has a better Irish rating than BDD who is three years older.

Congrats on your pro licence , mind you being sent by Kev to Greatrex wasn’t the best

Would be a very boring forum if we all agreed

An RPR gained over 2 1/2 miles though, not 2. Anyway, enough of bloody Honey. She's getting on my tits now !

We don’t want to think of Honey on your tits at this t8me of night. I better sign off and go back into the real world.

                      • If Honeysuckle wins well in the Irish Champion this has to come under serious consideration, which is sort of what HdB has said in his interview.

He has to stick to the mares opinion at present as she hasn’t ran in the Irish Champion yet. If the above happens 100% imo the balance of 95% mares will drop significantly.

As has been mentioned she will have beaten the best of the Irish (don’t see the English challenge greater) with the exception being Saldier. If she shows the speed for 2m and we all know she has stamina, 2m champion hurdle could be right up her street at Cheltenham.

Absolutely. She could well bomb in Irish Churdle and miss Cheltenham altogether. Now that would be a gutter !

                            • As ridiculous as it sounds, winning the Champion this season could be an easier task than winning the Mares.

They'd be daft not to run Honeysuckle in the Champion if she proves her worth at the DRF.

No, it's a poor looking 2mile division. Benie has actually only raced twice more in Ireland/England than Honey. She's very lightly raced and we still don't know her ceiling IMO.

Exactly Lobos, not at 2mile, where's the evidence she wouldn't perform very well at 2. I don't get why your so certain on this and that if anything needs 3mile.
