Mullins has never won a QMCC yet we are all balls deep in atleast one of his for the race

I think 14s is big enough for a “what if” e/w saver not right this second but I will place it

Unless jumping hurdles is easier on your lungs and heart, i don't see how Samcro>CH is a better option than a novice chase?

Bar the fall his jumping hasn't been too bad. It's his finish which is non-existent.

      • I'd take little notice of Gordon's entries.
His reading and writing is well known to be poor.

I've been told he's had a stamp made for his entries (out of a potato of course), with all his 'bestest' horses on it.
        Proper block entering now.
        He loves it.

            • Fusil raffles looks a big price to me for the BF hurdle @18/1 with uniboost. Wasnt in the entries for the CH trials, he Would need to win this to be in the big time. Off a mark of 150, if you ruled out his last run, He'd be fav. Iv had a few quid on. And im very hopeful. Firstly that he runs. And secondly that he goes very close.

I was quite keen on him for the CH at the start of the season, wonder if anything came to light after kempton, probably another hendo fiddle... Was inclined to think he'd be more likely to run in the kingwell. Alan King seemed quite keen on sending Sceau Royal to the betfair due to his lower hurdle mark, depending on ground

                • Given the last run blowout, I think Henderson would learn more about Fusil Raffles by running him in the Betfair at Newbury in a big field, left-handed, rather than another run around Wincanton in a small field Trial race. I hope they give it a go.

hendo will know what he's got though. Wouldnt want to be getting speculative given the amount of money for Epatante on boxing day. if he's seen as a CH prospect, he'll be in the kingwell imo

                    • ...Dave Ord in his Sporting Life article suggests Darasso could be a lurker for this at 50-1;

After 36 entries were unveiled for the Unibet Champion Hurdle, David Ord looks at the big questions that need answering ahead of this year's renewal.

The 50s now gone and a fair bit of blue on Oddschecker which I presume is because of this piece.

...ha, ha. Perhaps Dave is a visitor to this site, Darasso given plenty of positive mentions.

                          • The Honeysuckle cash out has gone up again today and is close to a 5/1.

They way I see it, there are two options.

                            1. Cash out and back again as NRNB, losing about 1/3 of potential winnings.

                            2. Cash out and then back at 11/1 with William Hill and increase winning by approx 40%.

How are people playing this? I'm seriously considering option 2 as it turns Honeysuckle into 70/1, by my calculations.

If you're prepared to lose your stake, I'd wait till declarations for dublin, and then back her in a special to win there and the festival. Make your manouvres then.

                              • I’m surprised you’ll lose a third by cashing out and backing NRNB, I was only around 10% short after cashing out. I cashed out yesterday and relaid cash out plus a little bit more to take it up to identical win figure. I’ve lost my e/w option but it was only 3 places at 1/5 but now have NRNB. Personally I don’t think Honeysuckle will race in the CH which influenced my decision.
