RSA Chase 2020

Also surprised like others that Carefully Selected wasn’t entered here. I thought there might be one or two surprises today with the Novice Chase entries with Faugheen in the NHC being the most vulnerable. Fair to say Early Doors NHC and CS in this race were not near the top of my list. As it turns out CS RSA was mainly on my closed 365 account so couldn’t have cashed anyway

Surely goes for a handicap though...

Hopefully not, had some nice runs over fences so far. Winning over 3m 1f at Cheltenham as well.

Would probably need another run upped in class to prove he’s a contender here but reckon he is good enough.

Henderson doesn’t have anything else for this (that I can think of).

I’m taking the no entry for CS as a big plus potentially for the improvement I’m hoping to see from Allaho.

Other than Faugheen is there anything else that looks a 3miler in his ranks to date? I don’t recall any so the best of the rest would be split Arkle and jlt I’d imagine.

Tornado flyer has looked in desperate need of a step up in trip. He would need to step up on his previous form massively at the DRF though.

Agree but more likely to the intermediate that 3m surely?

Could be wrong but would seem very odd to run close to the minimum then jump to 3m as a novice.

Dont think he good enough for place on the ferry , better off waiting for Punchestown.

Anybody else think that Slate House is a player in this...especially if he holds his own tomorrow?

I actually thought more for the MARSh

I was originally looking at the Marsh for him until he was declared to run over 3m 1f in the Cotswold tomorrow...

I think he may find that a stretch and maybe they are dipping there toes

Absolutely. Think he'll run a very big race tomorrow. Might even back him to win. I'll see what they look like first.

I do think the Handicap route taken so far has kept him under the radar, hope they go here with him and Robbie Power goes late, as he is such a strong traveller
