Couple questions about in shop ante post betting if anyone has the answers. As years go by and my stakes keep increasing, I have to spread around a single bet in different places in order to get on the equivalent of what is one point for myself, so I'm going to be betting in shop a bit more than usual.

One question I have is what liability do they usually accept at the terminals? For example, let's say when handicap entries are released for cheltenham and are nrnb a couple weeks beforehand, and you walk into a hills shop to bet on something at a terminal, what can people usually get on? I can normally get on a few hundred on my hills account but don't know if you could do that at a terminal.

And once the max stake is accepted at a terminal, can you just walk to a different terminal and put more on that one or no? Or if you put the max stake on a terminal can you then also write out a slip and bring it to the counter or can they tell you've already backed it on the terminal?

Or can I simply put the max stake on at a terminal, leave, and then return a few hours later to put on the max stake again? This is the least preferred option obviously in case price moves.

Also, just in general when ante post betting on cheltenham regardless of whether it's during nrnb or earlier, what would you say is a safe liability to try and get on at the counter that never results in any questions? If I'm trying to bet a 20/1 horse in the stayers hurdle let's say, can you get generally get on 50 quid absolutely no issues? Or more than that?

Any answers to any of those be appreciated.
