I've had a few spare quid in an account so I've taken the 33s on offer for the Turners, as you say the Supreme may well be the plan but at 14s that's less attractive and the horse has hit the line hard in both his runs he's sure to get further.
Whether @Hurricane fly is prepared to consider him is another thing, as with most novice hurdlers he comes with a high level of risk...

….i have him onboard for both too, i think @Hurricane fly has understandably ruled novice hurdles out at this point.

Not seen since down royal start of the season where he won nicely being plenty green
Declared for Ayr in a bumper on Saturday

He's going well of late

I'm with you on this one too Ista. I've only backed him for the Turners.

Not a hope in hell if he's trained by Willie/Gordon/Dan/Hendo he's a 33/1 shot for the Turners after winning the Champion Bumper, especially the way he did it too.

Obviously the form was let down a little by Bass Hunter next time out, but many horses fail to fire after giving their all at the Cheltenham Festival, if coming out too soon, and I am certainly not taking that run literally by him. He had also beat the winner on the Aintree bumper back in December too, so that piece of form can get in the bin.

I’m half tempted but for me there are likely to be speedier novices next season and as I said, the way TMR hits the line he is certain to get/want further….

Not at the moment, I'm all in for the Turners for him currently.

This may change, of course.

9/2 they opened him wouldnt have if they seen what he did in the schooling bumper week prior

Just think hes still very raw, like to think that will iron out with age and experience

Haha. that feels like a long time ago now, definitely not that bullish. Bob had hosed up in a p2p and showed that turn of foot in that Gowran bumper that blew me away.

….33-1 (Turners) The Mourne Rambler might go against last month’s advice of keeping to those with certain targets but maybe still a consideration for this months Yankee.

I note, he has an entry for Punchestown, sounds like @ComplyOrDie might include him next month

I've been pretty open that he is one I fancy a lot, stayed on like a train in the Turners and won the 3m race at Aintree. Jockey suggested he would be a stayers horse gives some credence to him going here too.

Johnnys Jury - BANC
His price has been slightly trimmed recently but I don't think he lost anything in defeat at Aintree, looks a future GC horse and has Cheltenham form with the AB winner. My one concern would be moving to the Wednesday you need to be up at the pace and currently he's probably racing a couple of lengths further back then you'd want, but he will finish strongly for sure

The Mourne Rambler - Turners
A value play highlighted here, rewatched the bumper and he was a good winner of it, they don't always have the best record coming back but a 2.5l win suggests he was a decent way clear as opposed to finishing in a heap which I am always wary off

Kaid D'Authie - Gold Cup
I've been looking through the multiple threads across the forum and his name came up a fair bit. He's obviously a "what could have been" but that's why he's 33/1 not 10/1

Bet365 a standout at 294,779
4 places pays 155/1
