Ballyburn a general 5/2 shot after that. Too short for me (famous last words) especially as he hasn’t shown his best at 3m yet. Happy to see him do it first and take shorter if he does.

I was dead against him for this season

He does though now look the one to beat and will very likely come on for the run more than teahupoo

I wouldn't go that far but I'd definitely say it's between the Irish.
The UK have struggled in recent years in this race (and others to be fair ).
I think 1 top 6 finish in the last 3 years.

Losing to colonel mustard in the kitchen with the candlestick does make it hard to argue a case for the yellow clay

Stayers Hurdle looks like a bloody deep division this year for once.

Yep those 2 can't be ruled out, and The 2 Mcmanus horses I wouldn't rule out either.
Not backed much in this race yet though.

Just Yellow Clay when PP went 20's (I did bet 16's elsewhere but they went 20-1 for half hour or so)
It's early in the season yet I reckon and the stayers is a completely different proposition to today's race and the Lismullen.

So those 5 and one of the UK horses might come 6th
