2026 Stayers Hurdle

Giving him weight as well

“The Stayers’ Hurdle is also interesting from Impose Toi’s point of view and we’ve a good few bullets to fire, but we have to concentrate on what we’re doing rather than worrying about the others.
“Impose Toi, does he need to run again? He’s so lazy at home you would say ‘yeah, he could do’ and there is only really one race for him (the Cleeve). But we’ve a lot of options.

Absolutely. Nrnb hills on Thursday for me
Good prompt GV for Thursday and HIlls normal date for NRNB

Just gotta now look at the horses with different options, targets not clear etc

Any help folks with ones to consider would be appreciated 😀….obviously in the ‘under the radar’ thread

….i assume their a/r market will disappear.

Magically appeared at 25/1 for stayers. Is somebody patrolling this forum??😉
It was Hills that did this last year when I mentioned The Enabler. Said I couldn't see it priced up anywhere, 10 minutes later he was there

I wish somebody would price up all of Sam Thomas' and Olly Murphys bumper horses

Interesting as when I mentioned on here that I was trying to get ahead of the Xmas Pertemps qualifier result that Sax shows is such a good trend for March, and look for Gordon Elliot’s with chances, I mentioned Sons of Anarchy……and low and behold it gets priced up before the final decs at 14/1 fav by Hills and 888 ( same company)

And then the horse doesn’t get declared, so no other bookmakers are quoting the horse

Normally horses priced for the Pertemps are after each qualifier and after they have qualified

Clearly shows we need to put price sensitive stuff on members/under the radar thread 😎

Very true. 3 years ago, Mandy playle wrote a piece for racingpost that lifted my post from here word for word

Yeah a good shout perhaps. I fancied him for the stayers pre season but didn’t back him as thought he’d be a chaser. Always slightly skeptical when they switch codes mid season at the top level but he is too classy to not cover.

….365 boosted Bob O to 14-1.

that low

feel they will target the Aintree Hurdle (race Lossie won last season), could be a cracking race if he turned up, EL Fab and Lossie and or Wahood. then again, they will also have TNL who may be suited by the trip aswell
that race today was weak, so was entitled to win it well. Please Dan has another good horse going into the spring fez

…..Kabral a best 8-1.

…Skelton;

‘All roads now lead to the Stayers’ Hurdle and I would go straight there. You might think about waiting and going two and a half miles at Aintree and waiting for a season three miles, but I’m a greedy bugger so we will go three miles!"

….Kabral 9-1 in Hills ‘Road to Cheltenham’ specials.

Refreshing to hear. If he was still with nicholls, he'd still be getting "looked after". And after all the looking after, would then amount to nothing. As with people, you've a much better chance of improving if your challenged, not coddled.
