Hopefully Classical Creek can win on Sunday anyway, provided it's even on!
Seems highly unlikely from the clip of Lorcan Wyer

What result do we want for Gordon to realise he’s a stayer and run him in the potato race at the festival?Hopefully Classical Creek can win on Sunday anyway, provided it's even on!

Look, if CC wins then I’m sure that he’ll be aimed at turners. 2nd or 3rd and he’ll go spud. Won’t get enough runs in for a handicapWhat result do we want for Gordon to realise he’s a stayer and run him in the potato race at the festival?
Saint Baco gassing after the last, Sortudo picking him up and winning by 5 lengths and Classical Creek staying on behind himWhat result do we want for Gordon to realise he’s a stayer and run him in the potato race at the festival?
Well he said he had just read it,Why did you read that and accept it as truth ?
First thought I had was that it did not sound right.
So i checked it, and although I did a bad job at it, I got there in the end.
I am so guilty of this. Though this year am TRYING to look beyond…..unsuccessfully so farDon't you think it's odd how obsessed everyone is trying to find the Supreme, Turners , Albert runners for Willie? Waste so much time on it that we are most likely missing out on mopping up value elsewhere.
I’m on this titanic with you till the bitter end yosserSaint Baco gassing after the last, Sortudo picking him up and winning by 5 lengths and Classical Creek staying on behind him![]()
Not sure what the rest of your comment is about ?Well he said he had just read it, wasn't really that bothered about checking it and i have only backed these two on a whim because i had a barnstorming day yesterday. If they go to different races they can easily be backed on the day i would imagine. Can't see either of them going super short although there is space in the Turners market for something to shorten considerably. I am more interested in the Christmas horses that didn't fire personally.

What do you make of that Darlo re:- Sober. Cracking pedigree but i have a huge 'no, no' when it comes to flat horses going over high grade timber races. Plenty mature though.Paddy mullins update on Sporting life
Says
Fou de Toi given a mention by Paddy when asked on upcoming novices for the 2m division
Says LEADER D'allier will come on 'an awful lot' for his run in Leopardstown
Patrick Mullins says SOBER could be heading to the Moscow Flyer
And don't forget Bambino Fever he says
Yeah my opinion too re LMTLittle word on Doctor Du Mesnil since his defeat. I imagine they were disappointed to be beat into 2nd after the fall of El Cairos, however, it could be Ballyburn all over again. A defeat first time out then a step up in trip next time out where he bolts up and suddenly that 20/1 is single figures again.
I also rewatched the Future Champions where Le Divin Enfant disappointed, and whilst there is no forgiving him, I do think Love Me Tender stayed on well at the end. Willie has repeatedly said he'll probably go out in trip then sticks him in two 2m races, when I say Willie, I obviously mean JP and his bent bunch!
50/1 is a big overaction for a staying on 3rd in G1, IMO.
I think everyone is guilty of it - but rightly so as more often that not, that should be the trainer to focus on primarily.
Since 2015, Willie Mullins has had -
4 Supreme winners, 6 placed horses
4 ballymore winners, 10 placed horses
4 Bartlett winners, 4 placed horses
A bit like that fire in Switzerland, at some point I'd like to think most would have stopped filming the fire and laughing and got the fuck out of there.
The stats are good but this also means that more than half the time he doesn't provide the winner.
This season does look ropey for him now IMO.
I was with it until the 2 maidens got turned over on boxing day myself, and now I'm more open minded.
I think those 2 horses in particular have a lot to prove. So do the beaten horses in the grade 1 at xmas.
Mullins cupboard looks a little bare in the speedier novice division this year I reckon. Especially after the xmas races.
For example it's hard to predict who his high profile runners at Dublin in the novice hurdlers will be.
I'd not gone hard like some do, although I'd nibbled at plenty.
I much prefer to see them race before having a good go (for my relatively low level)

FFS good analogy
I think this season is a little difference in the sense its now common knowledge the yard had a serious problem for around a month which has obviously set their horses back somewhat, and against a raging hard on that is Elliott, he's coming up plenty short. If they're disappointing in their next run, then fair enough. But I think we always tend to write off plenty of his early in the season and it comes to bite plenty in the arse.
Yeah I accept that may be a factor.
But playing devils advocate, there is always issues in yards every year, or the ground doesn;t come right quick enough in the season.
And I always factor Elliott's early season form which is why I often ignore his festival novices to a certain degree.
So we'll see.
For Kopek and Dallier though to use them as an example.
I doubt we'll see them in Dublin.
If we do, then he's either getting desperate or they are flying at home in comparison with their peers.
Kopek?
Leader will almost certainly be in a maiden hurdle wont he
I wonder if they'll try get a run into him sharp and then try reappear in that race Tullyhill won prior to his Supreme.
