Will it matter where Romeo goes this season?

I think it's been pretty obvious he'll be best suited to the mid trips, so the Ryanair will be his target next season.

If he picks up an Arkle/BANC on the way that will be a bonus, I think.
Well it matters to me in regards to
My bets

Yes agree, all is well expecting him to win well. As soon as the owner replied to a x comment, 'no' he's not injured i thought about backing.

Only concern for me is the owner is normally a bit more vocal than that...
Owners only ever know what they're told, just saying.
I wouldn't be surprised if they've (Riders/willie) looked at where the horse is fitnesswise and thought another week or two and he'll be spot on, why risk the run at the DFR when he's not quite ready & they're not totally happy with him, you always give them time anything leg related and I think they're just being cautious, one bad decision now and you're on the back foot for all the spring festivals.

Of course all of that is pure speculation & in time we'll all know what was the reasoning.

Could it be that Western Fold is absolutely tanking at home and Gordo and Jack fancy him as their best chance at 3m?

I dont think he'd reply saying no if the horse was actually injured, would be a bad look when he could just ignore the question and nobody would know if he even seen it.

I'd be thinking he's not injured but just might not be fully fit in time for the drf, which explains the market moves with him and romeo. And then the fact he may have to go to Cheltenham with only one run, which would explain the drift for that race.

Ah yeah, of course, me too, to a degree, but to Gordon and connections?
Really think they should be skipping the Festival with him. Clearly mid trip is his thing. I know owners want to have a Cheltenham runner but not to the detriment of the horse.

Well owners pay the bills, and is it really a detriment?
I think so yeah when it may well detriment other potential big Spring targets. Arkle and BANC at Cheltenham does take a fair bit out of them especially if it comes up Soft and against top opposition and horses more suited to the respective trips.

Anyone keen on jimmy de seuil for the BANC?. Posted same rpr as final demand. at 10x the odds looks worth covering.
