The races are not what they used to be, but she has won two of the premier handicaps in the national hunt season. I think that's a better achievement than winning small field Graded races, of which there are far too many in Ireland. Not sure how she's achieved so much more than Dinoblue?
I know but what she's done in the past means very little in March. She's officially regressed this season albeit by a little whereas PA has had a season like no other. The double she completed was incredible and her run last time was poetry. If you've backed Dinoblue you are hoping she gets there in peak form but also that the ground isn't testing like the year she got beat. There definitely shouldn't be the difference in prices between the two like there currently is.That's not what it said mind
Sure I read somewhere last year that doctor Dino mares form does seem to decline fairly quickly from 8/9 l, I’ve been waiting for this to happen but Dinoblue still looks to set a fair standard. Not pocket talk, I’m all over Spindleberry, but have panic attack covered. Can’t fully weigh up her form, or be certain she’ll carry the form for another race this season….been to the well a few times already.I haven't backed Dinoblue as I feared she may be retired, or be on the decline at 9 and the price has never allowed me to since she reappeared. And I won't be now in what's a competitive enough contest.
Interestingly Panic Attack is actually a year older. Remarkable what she's achieved this year for sure, but she was rated in the 130s for both those handicaps. Dinoblue is a genuine Grade 2 performer, who's actually won a Grade 1. I'm not saying she can't beat her I just feel Dinoblue has achieved more to date. But I get the history of the races Panic Attack won may sway some people's views.
For what it's worth, I've actually backed Only By Night, as my only bet in the race. Which I'll let ride and still think she'd be an interesting contender but I wouldn't be confident at this point by any means.
Shed be 3 from 3 if they had ridden her more prominently against limerick laceNever in doubt that I don’t think. Jump 4 out was beautiful.
Some mare.
Will Kargese stick to 2 miles or go for the Mares Chase next year.
Always thought she's a 2 miler to be fair
Can’t see her stepping up, though she surprised me with how well she saw out the arkle tbf always thought 2m was her limit. Will Kargese stick to 2 miles or go for the Mares Chase next year.
