2026 Champion Chase

Still cant jump, out to the left all the time as well,Id go up in trip myself, slower tempo might aid his fencing as its shocking at times tbh.

Ran better than I expected to be honest. Was concerned for a while.

There's no way he's winning a champion chase when he can't jump, will be PU after a few fences. Here's hoping I'm wrong as I've backed him 🤣🤣🤣😭

Very poor jumping by Majborough, he should have beaten these easy. Marine should beat him easily on that showing

Can't jump, won't jump.

Maybe JP will try F2F over 2m again and step Maj up. Could work for him.

Hope the bookies react like some on here!!
He’s proved he can jump ok in previous races.
Giving weight today and still only just got beat by a race fit rival who’s no mug.

Surprised they ran Maj over right handed track first time out

common knowledge he doesn’t jump that well in that configuration

wouldn’t give up on him back left handed
How did he jump in the arkle ?

Definitely not one to give up on. He clouted a few, fiddled a few and jumped left at a few. Not his finest hour jumping but it was his first run against the twice raced Found A Fifty and still nearly got back up. Patrick did warn us that some of the stars wouldn't perform first time out. I was hoping for more of a drift from the bookies. He is literally the same price I backed him at 2 weeks ago so they aren't really moved by the performance. They know better is to come. Has an engine like a land rover.

Mr Dineen says that about a lot of horses I have backed in the past. Guess what happened....

He might not win but I'm definitely not writing him off. Happy to take that chance

Heavy ground Cheltenham, left handed, and I think Marj would be too big to ignore.

May do a TWAF, likely running at the DRF next time out?
I'm not even sure how he wants to be ridden. Does he want to dictate the pace or is he better behind a fast pace. I would try him with a pacemaker.

Hmmm yeah

I’d like to see him being a pace maker
I don’t think he’s a front runner but has had to do the donkey work as he’s a horse that wants to go forward

I thought he’s drift more in the market tbh. Let’s see

Marine National the one to beat. CD all day line for me, but we have another horse that hasn’t show his face yet

Champion Hurdle and the QMCC are being a pain in the backside atm, so up and down, plenty of negatives around
