Just had a very positive update re Western Ryder, again, the Chelt bumper is the target and if he wins tomorrow you have to assume he'll be much shorter.

Cheers Ista - time for me to back him again

What price are we expecting him to be this weekend?

No idea ryan, I'm away until Sat am so won't see cards until the day

Cool Ista no worries

Had backed Western Ryder LTO as that bumper where he finished 2nd was looking good after Sneaky Feeling ran a cracker over hurdles and was right to do so as the horse won well at Ascot. I wonder how Infinite Sun, who beat WR in that bumper will fair this time around should they meet.

As far as the festival goes I like the obvious, in Getabird and Ballyward, but one at a price that interests me, although not confirmed to go to the festival is Carlos Du Fruitier (25/1 with a couple of firms pricing up only) no NRNB price yet.

Do you know connections then Ista?

taken a bit of 50s Infinite Sun for the bumper just in case she hoses up saturday.

iv'e also taken the 12s ew Infinite Sun for tomorrows bumper @ Newbury.

Western Ryder is 5/1 with Sid JAMES. Seems a great price to me.

Surprised to see such a big difference in the betting between Carter McKay and West Coast Time in the Bumper at Naas. Was more impressed with the latter on debut, myself.

Bit of a drift on Getabird. Out to 7.4 to back which is slightly disconcerting.

Quite a few are weak in various markets but I'm just putting it down to people changing their positions since the introduction of NRNB. Melon is another example.
