Both rivals are making there chase debut. Greatrex is better with hurdlers than chasers. Mahvellous has only ever won on good ground and is likely to need both the run and the experience of fences 1st time up. He can come home in his own time.

IRISH ROE has already had 23 races. She makes chase debut but doesnt look an obvious chaser and isnt expected to improve for the switch. She was sent off 4/1 2nd fav on her only previous run at Musselburgh but flopped and was a well beaten 7 of 9. Todays trip is further than she has ever been in her 23 races and she will probably just have a pop round for a bit then get pulled up today.

Its no wonder that The Rooneys and Keith Dalgleish do so well with chasers when they are finding opportunities like this.
