Only gone for Elegant Escape @ 20/1 EW in the the big one. There is just so much in his favour. His form this side of Xmas is excellent, contrary to misconception his record on better ground is very good, he’s got Cobden in the saddle, he’ll be race fit and will have had an extra week to put him bang on.

Fully expected him to at least place so happy days at a good price.

Top betting on Magic Saint Q. I picked the wrong Henderson horses yesterday, most of my accumulators featured On The Blind Side and Downtown Getaway so scrambled some money back from the De Rasher Counter after Luke Harvey passionately put him up as his tip of the day on the opening show. Some great racing though, I enjoyed what I saw of Newbury
