Today's bumper at Gowran Park looks good - front 3 all well thought of. This bumper has produced Bob Olinger, Journey with Me, Tullyhill, Minella Melody and Yorkhill.

Seems to be some confidence in Port Joulain though.

Yeah it’s become one of the go to races for those later point recruits who haven’t had a full season with their new trainers. Probably a bunch of stayers this year and it will take a fair bit in that heavy ground. Must be a million quid tied up in those front three.

I backed her e/w yesterday on this basis, and because she's already won a couple of big field bumpers (19 and 13 runners) which can't be said for all of the fancied runners, and should stand her in good stead for this,

Surprised how many are rated 130+. Very competitive.

I backed her at the DRF as the mares looked a poor bumper. I think she'll be available at larger odds on the exchange on the day for win only as there must be some at the front who shorten. Good chance in an open renewal.
