Lostintranslation probably the pick of likely runners now looks to have sorted his jumping out. I'd love to see Vinndication here but vibes seem to be for RSA if he comes to Cheltenham.
An Irish challenger or two will undoubtedly will pop up once they see how weak the race looks. I'll be keeping my powder dry until the Dublin Racing Festival.
The complete list of potential Beginners chases is as follows*:
19-Jan Navan 3 miles
24-Jan Gowran 2 miles
26-Jan Fairyhouse 2m 6f
13-Feb Fairyhouse 2m 5f (Mares)
16-Feb Gowran 2m 4f
23-Feb Fairyhouse 2m 2f
3-Mar Leopardstown 2m 5f
* There are some other races restricted to horses with Hurdles ratings below 116 - those horses won't be going here
Not many options there! It's entirely possible some horses may have their Novice status preserved and be left until next year.

A PLUS TARD. H DE BROMHEAD
This is a bit of a left field pick for this race. Im not in the least bit certain it'll come to Cheltenham, but if it does it could be special. It runs in the Cheveley Park colours.
I was very taken with the last performance at Naas over 2.3m. Jumped superbly, and beat a decent field, including Duc Des Genievres comfortably. The Gowran Park run was decent too getting chinned on the line. Gundigger, Burren Life, Burgas in behind.
He's entered up at Punchestown in a Grade 3 on Sunday.Last edited by doctorwu; 8 January 2019, 09:44 PM.

Would be fun watching VDR v Knocknanuss in an Arkle

Discussing Hardline and Voix Du Reve is like watching people fight over a bounty and a snickers in the leftover celebrations tubs.
Move on lads, they're both below grade 1 winning class this season
