2019 Topham Chase
The Topham Chase is run over the Grand National Fences on Aintree’s Ladies Day. It shares top billing with the Grade 1 Melling Chase on that day.
This has been a tricky race for punters with only no favourite winning in the last decade.
The last winning favourite was Gwanako under Ruby Walsh in 2008. Gwanako was a bit of a stats buster and did not have the weight and age profile of the other race winners during that period
