The Rendelsham Hurdle is one of the last major trials for staying hurdlers before the World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.It has Grade 2 status in its own right and is run over a distance of 3 miles and 1 furlong at Haydock Park Racecourse.
Horses on the roll of honour include Floyd, Barracouda, Deanos Beano and Kasbah Bliss. Barracouda was the last horse to double up in the Rendelsham and the World Hurdle.
Restless Harry was the winner of the 2012 renewal. The 2013 Rendelsham Hurdle is due to take place on the 16 February.
