Punchestown Champion 4 Year Old Hurdle Stats

The Punchestown Champion Four Year Old Hurdle is the feature race on the concluding Saturday of the Punchestown Festival.

The race is run over two miles and has Grade 1 status. It is the Punchestown equivalent of the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. It is due to take place in 2013 on the 28th of April.

Our Conor running in the colours of Barry O’Connell for the first time will be hotly fancied to follow up his impressive Cheltenham win. Barry O’Connell retains Danny Mullins as his jockey. This means the rising star of the weigh room, Bryan Cooper, is likely to miss out on the ride this time around.
