Peterborough Chase Stats

The Peterborough Chase is normally run at Huntingdon racecourse in early December over 2 miles 4 and a half furlongs. The 2012 renewal was due to take place on Thursday 13th December but fell victim to weather and has been rescheduled for Thursday 20th December 2012 at Exeter Racecourse. The roll of honour includes famous horses Best Mate, One Man and Remittance Man. 

The race is most associated with 4 time winner Edredon Bleu and that horse’s trainer the 8 time winner Henrietta Knight. She retired earlier this year and reflects on career highlights in this interview with ATR’s Luke Harvey:
