The Grade 2 National Spirit Hurdle run at Fontwell racecourse in late February remembers a dual Chamion Hurdle winner from the 1940s.
The most famous horses on the roll of honour are Comedy of Errors and more recent Cheltenham Festival winners Baracouda and my way De Solzen.
