The 2012 Listowel Harvest Festival kicks off on Sunday 16th September 2012 with a seven race National Hunt card.
Going on the course in currently Soft ( Soft to Heavy) in places and officials were be hoping for a continued dry spell (after a very wet summer) in order to save all planned seven days of the meeting.
The feature event on day one is the Dawn Milk Handicap Steeplechase over 2 miles 4 furlongs.Mossey Joe tops the weights and connections will be hoping to return to the pre-injury form of 2011. Denis Hogan on the other hand would be happy for Kalellshan to continue in the form of Summer 2012.
