If you enjoyed Jump Boys on TG4 then it is worth catching up on Jockey Eile which was rerun over Christmas and is now on the TG4 player (for a limited time). The show is something of an X Factor for aspiring jockeys with amateur riders competing against each other to win a job as a jockey. Davy Russell and Kevin Fanning mentored the jockeys and Paula Geraghty (Barry’s wife) will be advising the aspirant jocks on diet. This show and Jump Boys have both been nominated for IFTAs.
