There were four grade ones up for grabs at Leopardstown earlier today. Bryan Cooper landed his second Grade 1 win of 2013, Davy Russell had the first of the season and the 26th of his career while Paul Townend moved ahead of Timmy Murphy in our table with two on the day.
Last weekend Barry Geraghty notched up the 77th grade one win of his career and fifth of the 2012-13 season with Captain Conan in the 2013 Scilly Isles Chase.
Ruby Walsh is the winning most National Hunt jockey at Grade 1 level with 120 wins. Tony McCoy has won 68 races at Grade 1 level.
