Hello Fat Jockeys,

Wish I'd taken the risk now as he will go off fav but hey ho
Dancing city and romeo coolio would be my main fancies
if i do back romeo il put any winnings on the jonbon/protektorat straight forecast
That is unless romeo drifts out to 13/8 or bigger then il double down as it looks a gimme to me
Of the ones you mentioned, I also like Dancing City I just don't think he likes Cheltenham but I wouldn't discount Tripoli Flyer in the Novice hurdle. If he can sort his jumping out he's a fast horse

4 punts on Friday too
Dancing City 8/1 win
Clearly not at ease around Cheltenham’s undulations but dominant elsewhere over hurdles, expect more of the the same as last year
* cover bet on Jordans 25/1 e/w
This one slipped my mind, a sharper flat track will suit him better than Cheltenham & stepping up to 3m he looked overpriced to me
Wade Out 7/1
Crying out for a proper stamina test all season, Olly must have had one eye on here from early doors, looks a few lb well in
Blue Lord 10/1
Graded horse in a handicap, PT’s pick, has plenty of boot & still showing an appetite for it whilst dropping a few lbs en route

Not backed yet but will chance Stellar story in the first as I think there are 4 that want to lead or be prominent so am banking on a very strong pace and hopefully he can jump well enough to stay in touch, and then outstay them.
Like western walk in the second ew.
Got a nice antepost double with Lossie going on to Tripoli flyer, so fingers crossed he's as useful as he looked the last day, and also had another bet on him with horace's pearl for saturdays race, as the related aintree form is decent enough.
Backed what I think will be 2 prominent racers in the topham in Lisnamult lad & Jetoile, both trained for the race.
On Battle Born Lad at the big prices mentioned on here, but have to also bet Lucinda's horse at 40-1 as she has won the race twice and had a 100-1 third in the last 4 years when she's had a runner.
Hamsiyan & Jack Hyde in the last.
Hopefully fergal has his in decent form as a few of his seem to have bubbled up on my radar this week.
For a laugh I've also had the Minella ew Patent for tomorrow as all three looked to have some sort of chance and were mad prices.

Romeo coolio slowly drifting out to a very appealing price
Mullins wins one or both of the first two races tomorrow may even get 3.0 on betfair
It feels to me like a three stripe life type of bet. He got beat up by Sir G at Cheltenham but didn't have to face him at Aintree and won easily.
Romeo pulled well clear with kopek and munny in the supreme but neither are running
This isn't the 2m4f race that gordo has mopped up the last 3 years with easy wins by Brighterdaysahead, irish point and 3 stripe life but i can see this being a similar story
The 7s-8s available on dancing city looks rather good value atm with him close to vying for favouritism on the machine
Be interesting to see how Caldwell potter gets on. He will jump them silly for the first 2 miles just a question of whether he gets home. If he wins then king george becomes interesting. Though surely surely Gaelic Warrior runs in that this year.Last edited by FinalFurlong91; 3 April 2025, 06:35 PM.

Day 2 will have to go some to get close to yesterday, but will give it a good go.
Dancing City 15/2
Blenkinsop 25/1 / Beacon Edge 66/1
Salvator Mundi 4/1 / Jet To Vegas 16/1
Excello 25/1 / Mars Harper 25/1 / Gentleman De Mee 33/1
Jacob's Ladder 10/1 / Julius Des Pictons 28/1 / Mister Meggit 4/1 (Saver)
Celtic Dino 7/1
I really hope they adopt 'from the front' tactics for Salvator Mundi. He'd be my bet of the day if they do.Last edited by ComplyOrDie; Yesterday, 08:06 AM.
