Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

100% this, also the horse doesn't seem bothered about falling, looked fine throwing himself at a few today again, I'd say give him a fence, might have some respect for obstacles then, getting him to respect hurdles seems a hard task for the yard, as for Nicos race positioning,it was pretty poor in the first as well.
    Hope everyones enjoying Aintree

Today's fall looked like they were in disagreement.
Nico would do well to just let the horse do it himself like he seemed to do early in his career.

The whole hurdle coming back to him is not an issue if you're taking off at the right time with the right trajectory, and today the horse was wanting a big one and Nico wasn't.

I'm not blaming Nico, I just think this horse should be allowed to be the boss.
When he first went over hurdles some excellent judges on here singled him out, it was for exactly what you're on about here.
he was being touted as the Frankel of NH, a hirse who did it all himself, effortlessly, would tony queally (very much a purposeful mistake of his name) win like that on another horse? No he wouldn't
Some horses just need to be sat on and left to do their job, constitution hill was that horse, I'm beginning to lose faith in the jockey however.

I wasn't going to back anything in the Aintree Hurdle, but see Constitution Hill has touched EVS, so might go in on him now.
          Very solid day.

Made more profit than I did the entire Cheltenham Festival

Only the last race that was disappointing.

Excellent shout. I got 80s before the off!

Not much for him to beat

The jonbon/protektorat straight forecast may be the play

Can't have el fabiolo at all Aintrees fences are some of the stiffest in the country

I may play it if dancing city or romeo coolio win

It did almost feel like the gambling gods decided to give us all a proper chance after the Cheltenham results

Probably be back to reality the next two days

Iv only watched the first race as been at work so looking forward to watching the replay of garlic cert and Patrick

Plus the other winners most of which plenty were keen on

                      Yeah for sure.

Only howler I made was cashing the Gaelic Warrior Trixie, which would have made it being my most successful opening day of the Aintree festival ever, but nevermind, I'll certainly take what I did manage to achieve

In behind a wall of horses with nowhere to go entering the final furlong, she was switched wide and still won with a bit in hand.

Firms tend not to take chances with Bowen at Aintree but I’ll be waiting patiently for Queen Kate to be priced up now she’s confirmed.
Ran well for fourth Eggs, with the market completely ignoring her @ 50/1, worth keeping on the tracker methinks

….with most firms paying 1-4, glad a few backed her especially at 80-1 available at some point in the morning

As you say, one to watch next season.
