Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • I think Tiger Roll will take all the beating but can't back him at 7/2 in a race this chaotic.

I have backed Walk in the Mill and Singlefarmpayment EW.
I think they represent great value.

Looks like a cut a paste job. He is a good tipster though so maybe great minds

Plenty of room for all on the Valseur Express.

Regal Encore a decent tip in his list though Mark Walsh rides with Richie already jocked on on Minella Rocco.

                  • Anyone else see Tiger Roll having blinkers on this year as a negative? It's not something I generally like to see in the National. 43 have worn them since Comply Or Die's victory including COD. One runner up, a third and a fifth.

HArd to see it as a negative, when they've seemed to be such a positive for him?

If he doesn't win the race I don't think I'd put it down to blinkers... of course we'd never actually know

as long as they stay in position I wouldn't worry.
If they slip and he runs blind then I'd back each way to be safe

                        • I'm pretty sure Elliott is going to demand some sort of screen around him with his other runners i grant you!

                          • What are the forum thoughts on trainers being capped on number of entries? 13 runners for Elliott

                            • I could see a cap on owners but not just on trainer; would be fair on Elliot’s other owners

                              • Ultimately, it's a handicap, so the horses in the race have a rating that deserves to get them in.

Which stable they're in, or what colours the fella on top wears don't REALLY matter in terms of the race?

Team tactics are rarer (and would be fairly useless in a race like this anyway) so that wouldn't matter and that only really leaves "how it looks".

Different colours caps, I don't like it...but there are more important things to worry about in racing than that...

I did hear someone on a podcast say they should cap number of owners runners so they can't have #no-hopers' - but ultaitmely, every horse has a rating so that's an incorrect opinion.

Can't see anything changing, I wouldn't change anything.
