....weather glorious up here in Liverpool.

I note Ms Parfois connections saying it won�t run unless the going is soft. I think that�s very unlikely but the turf and ground at Aintree is always lush, even in the height of summer. It will be watered and Trainers shouldn�t be put off if there�s little rain about.

Has anyone heard anything about if Don Poli is going to run?

I'm not going to let my infatuation end under anything silly like form or actually being at a race track, but i didn't back NRNB and keen to cash out what's left of my stake if he's not going to run

Since the alterations I have also noticed that all the winners since 2013 started their winning season at least six weeks before the turn of the year. They all started mid November or before.

The first entries for the 2019 Goffs UK Aintree Sale, which has produced three Grade 1 winners from just three boutique sales, will include two confirmed runners in the �1,000,000 Randox Health Grand National; Grade 1 winners DON POLI and OUTLANDER.

The pair are currently owned by Gigginstown House Stud, are trained by Gordon Elliott and will be offered at the Aintree Sale which will be held in the winners enclosure at Aintree Racecourse after racing on Thursday 4 April – the opening day of the Randox Health Grand National Festival.

DON POLI, winner of eight races with three at Gr.1 level including the Cheltenham Festival’s Gr.1 RSA Chase and Gr.1 Lexus Chase at Leopardstown. Proven at Aintree having beaten Grand National winner Many Clouds in a Listed Chase and finishing second to Cue Card in the Gr.1 Betfair Bowl.
OUTLANDER, winner of 10 starts with three at Gr.1 level including the Gr.1 Lexus Chase at Leopardstown and Gr.1 Champion Chase at Down Royal. Also placed second in last year’s Gr.1 Irish Gold Cup.
Gigginstown House Stud are regular supporters of Goffs UK Horses-in-Training Sales and hold their annual dispersal at the September Sale every year which produces a number of subsequent winners such as Folsom Blue and Captain Zebo who won at the weekend. Eddie O’Leary of Gigginstown House Stud commented:

“Don Poli and Outlander represent outstanding opportunities for new owners to purchase live chances in the Randox Health Grand National and also potential top-class Hunter Chasers for the future. Outlander also performs on better ground making him an ideal prospect for racing in America.”

Purchasers already registered with the BHA will be able to change the ownership and colours in time for the Randox Health Grand National two-days later.

Is Ms Parfois a decent bet NRNB then... if the weather takes a turn.. she goes off shorter than 25/1 witrh a very nice profile...

and doesn't run if not soft?

I'm too worried she would take her chance anyway

You only get to see it if you subscribe and it is right at the bottom of the horse's 5 generation pedigree. Funnily enough I checked the figures for the two longest races run yesterday namely the Ulster National and the 26f Chase at Carlisle and both the winners and runners up in both races met the 6-10 Speed and 13-16 Stamina profiles. It's by no means bombproof, far from it, and sometimes a race can have too many qualifiers but it is a handy tool.
