Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Which stable they're in, or what colours the fella on top wears don't REALLY matter in terms of the race?

Team tactics are rarer (and would be fairly useless in a race like this anyway) so that wouldn't matter and that only really leaves "how it looks".

Different colours caps, I don't like it...but there are more important things to worry about in racing than that...

I did hear someone on a podcast say they should cap number of owners runners so they can't have #no-hopers' - but ultaitmely, every horse has a rating so that's an incorrect opinion.

Can't see anything changing, I wouldn't change anything.
What if Gigginstown had 20 runners or thirty ??

Then they'd own 20 or 30 horses that fit the criteria to get in the race?

      Doesn't really change anything.

They MIGHT make a silks change...

        • With the rain arriving, is there many horses who would be better suited with the softer ground if it stayed soft on Saturday?

          • ......I live in Liverpool, i went to Aintree today. The rain is torrential, I mean torrential.

Tiger Roll won't mind the rain.

                    • It isn't going to be a mud slog.

The forecast for Friday and Saturday is ok.

....I’m old and I don’t think i’ve seen rain in Liverpool like I saw yesterday. It was a bit like those tropical downpours you get when you go abroad.

The ground at Aintree is always lush, even in the middle of summer it has some give in it. It’s damp here again this morning with bits of rain in the air so it’s difficult to see it drying out.

Sorry I've not been posting lately - been busy. Tiger is of course a huge chance, as is Anibale Fly, but not at the odds (NB AF may have drifted since I last checked - if so, will have an interest).

For sentimental purposes, I'm also backing Livelovelaugh (and be happy! - I'm a Charlton fan, and those words appear in The Red Red Robin), and Bless The Wings (one of my favourite ever horses), but not for anything substantial.

                            • I'm feeling a bit nervous , Not having backed Vintage clouds ! , But got more than enough backed already.
I prefer Lake view lad , Just hope i haven't picked the wrong Trevor hemming's horse.
Going to do the I.T.V 7 now , watch the Virtual G.National.
and then sit back and watch the afternoon's Racing.
Good Luck to everyone , Have a Winner or Three.

                              • That 365 offer sent me a tad haywire, but I've got a profitable position on plenty who I think have claims. If a horse wins and I dont have it, I never would have!
